Critical Care – Mechanical Ventilators

Versatile ventilation solutions that offers greater freedom, confident care, and designed efficiency to enrich life for you and your patients.

There is an increasing challenge where critical care is confronted with a widening gap between demand and supply. Patient safety has become a key priority in the past decade with those in the healthcare industry under pressure to provide a higher quality of care to an increasing number of complex patients with limited resources.

Introducing a new range of Ventilators which offers fully-featured, versatile ventilation solutions which include: LUFT4, PR4-g, PR4D Plus and PR4g Touch.
Designed to allow your patients to breathe safe and easy – anytime, anywhere. Able to support adult, paediatric and neonatal patients in any situation, whilst providing clinicians with intelligent ventilation solutions that:

  • Improve patient safety and comfort
  • Easy to use
  • Increase efficiency of care

Key Features of LUFT3

  • Versatile: range of modes to treat all patients from adult, paediatric and neonatal.
  • Large set of standard features and options: advanced ventilation modes and other features such as Proximal Flow Sensor, Volumetric Capnography, Oximetry, Stress Index
  • User friendly: easy set-up with 17″ touchscreen calibration. Graphical interface with operational visualisation.
  • Safe: programmable and automatic alarms. Also, a Stress Index is used for provide a practical, safe and effective analysis of the patient ventilation. Its is a measure of respiratory the stress caused in the alveoli either by collapse or hyper-distension.
  • Practical: combines the best of conventional controlled ventilation modes of volume and pressure, providing the volume adjusted by the operator with as little pressure as possible.

The LUFT3 is specifically designed for Intensive Care Units (ICU), and successfully integrates the technology of its 17″ touchscreen display and the control microprocessor can accommodate a full range of ventilator modes and allow monitoring of the condition of adult, paediatric and even neonatal patients.
With endless features for ease-of-use, easy setup, exceptional graphical interface and numerous operational modes, the LUFT3 is the most ideal and versatile lung ventilator dedicated to the ICU.

Key Features of PR4-g

  • Portability: design with compactness and ruggedness required for transport and emergency care.
  • Versatile: range of modes to treat all patients from adult, paediatric and neonatal.
  • User friendly: easily programmable controls
  • Safety: Programmable and automatic alarms. Also, the AutoPEEP Ventilatory Mechanic evaluates the persistence of a positive alveolar pressure at the end of the expiration due to a final expiratory pulmonary volume higher than the foreseen functional residual capacity.
  • Interface and ventilation modes: With an LCD display of 7”, PR4-G holds a friendly and intuitive graphical interface, which allows the visualisation of the ventilatory parameters and the curve of pressure by time.

PR4-g – a portable, electronic medical lung ventilator designed to be used in medical transport both inside and outside the hospital, air medic rescue and emergency rooms. Able to accomodate all patients from adult, paediatric and even neonatal patients (from 300g). With simple and easy portability, endless features, a user-friendly design and multiple operational modes, the PR4-g is the perfect ventilator dedicated to use during medical transport.

Key Features of PR4D Plus

  • Battery over 45 hours: the supply of power with an internal battery and high capacity lithium ion technology grants the lung ventilator PR4D Plus an autonomy of more than 45 hours of use
  • Volumetric: With its own button and an LCD display for monitoring offers higher safety and agility to setup the ventilatory volume during removals and transport of patient.
  • Practicality: access all the equipments parameter through a reduced number of control keys, providing and easy.
  • Accessories: provided with a flowmeter and a humidifying bottle for oxygenotherapy and aspiration bottle, complimentary accessories to the efficiency of the emergency ventilatory support.

PR4D Plus, a portable ventilator controlled by micro-processor, designed for use in mobile units and emergency care. Easy-to-use where its operations is simplified by a rotary knob (encoder). Developed to meet the needs of adult and paediatric care in portable units and emergency rooms, with practicality and ease of handling.

PR4D Plus is also designed for surgery clinics, attending to emergency situations and complying with the safety standards. Controlled by microprocessor, the portable equipment offers an autonomy ranging from 45 up to 80 hours.

Key Features of PR4-G Touch

  • Versatile and practical: perform procedures such as capnography, PRVC, NIV, PCV, PSV and CPAP in adult, paediatric and neonatal patients.
  • Portable: optional trolley or carrying bag, this portable lung ventilator may be used in remote locations.
  • Comfortable and safe: leak compensation constantly monitors the pressure drop on the airway. This technology, available in all the pressure ventilation modes, is able to identiy the leak of air and automatically adjusts the airway pressure.

The ventilator PR4-g Touch is among the most complete lung ventilators of the market and offers all the ventilation modes required to care of adult, paediatric and neonatal patients in addition to its respiratory mechanics menu for various diagnoses. It offers high ventilation quality suited to every patient with quick and safe adjustments of each ventilation parameter, providing the professional with a pleasant work which allows greater patient care.
