The PDM-127, manufactured by the Hitachi Aloka company in Japan, protects the wearer from the harmful effects of radiation by tracking changes in exposure and keeping an ongoing record of the user’s dose over time. They are designed to be placed in a pocket (chest or abdomen) of people who handles radiation or a person who happens to enter a radiation handling facility.
THE PDM-127 is a highly sensitive dosimeter to measure both gamma rays and x-rays. With an energy threshold that goes down to 20keV, it is best suited for applications in X-Ray. The PDM-127 is a direct-reading dosimeter which displays both accumulated dose and dose rate.
Features:
- Light and compact to fit in a pocket
- Wide measurement range from 1µSv to 1 Sv
- Simple one button operation
- Dose rate measuring
- Data holding function
PDM-127 Electronic Pocket Dosimeter includes
- (1) Battery
